First game of the year. Everyone is undefeated and thinks they have a chance. The home team crowd will into it. I'll go with the home teams.

FYI, since hand checking these picks is a huge PITA and time sink, last year I wrote a script (PERL) that pulls every pick and dumps them to a file. I load that file into Excel and then pattern check. Because gbear mistyped Tennessee initially, I'll do a search and replace on that to fix it before scoring. Outside of that, though, if your pick doesn't pattern match the winner, you get an "L" for that game.

e.g. If the choice was Ohio State v Michigan, and Ohio State wins, then your pick submission must have Ohio State for that game. If it reads Ohio St, OSU, The Bucks, The Good Guys, or anything else, you'll be scored wrong.
