2007 OHSAA Tourney Talk

I was taking a look at the brackets and seeing what recruits we have, have a good chance of getting to columbus...

DIV 1:

I think that if Glenoak(KK) can get by Harding and Perry this week, they should make it down here, there coudl also be a rematch of the Solon/Glenoak game of Lauderdale/KK in the regional semifinals...

If Northland(Sullinger) can get by Newark they have a good shot at getting down here...

If Buford and Libbey is to make it down here they are going to have a huge game on their hands in the regional finals when they should matchup with St. Ed's...

DIV 2:

For Desales to get to columbus they will have to beat either McClain or Zainesville...I have not seen Zainesville play, but I keep hearing from a friend that they are good, but they will have to get thru McClain who is a very good team...I think they would be the favorites to win it all...

IMO there is no way Mullens and Winchester get down here...They have some very tough teams in their bracket as they have Alter, Tipp City, and Dunbar...

Not sure about Upper Sandusky(Diebler), but he can keep them in any game if he is hot, but I just don't see them getting down here with the team aroudn him...They will probably meet Van Wert in the regional semis who is a very solid team and Copley(#3 in state) and Olmstead Falls(#8) is who they will probably have to play in the regional finals...

I sure hope they don't get by Newark. :wink2:

The Blue Devils handed Newark their only loss this season. I was at that game and they looked pretty tough to me.

Should be one helluva game with the #4 and #6 teams in the state going at it...

I havent seen many high schools games this season, but that McClain team is very good, that should also be a very good game...
