1. I didn't put any words in your mouth.
2. You use 40 times to say Jarrett is slow, those same 40 times say Hall is fast.
3. Maybe.....just maybe....Hall got burnt for a different reason other than he sucks at deep coverage.
4. Get the sand out of your vagina.

1. Yes, you have. You've brought up numerous points that had nothing to do with my original statement.
2. I'm not just using 40 times. I'm basing this on watching him play too. He just doesn't move that fast, IMO.
3. That's possible. As I've said, I may not be remembering it clearly.
4. Stop pouring it in then.

hell more like 2008......

and the coach *MIGHT* be Pete Carroll, because Savage will be gone too....

oh 2008 was kinda guaranteed already... im speaking years ahead. And yea, I was trying to get at Savage with the "at least a new coach". Can't see Petey going to Cleveland though. He'd be retarded to make that move.

Eh, at least we signed Alan Ricard this off season. :roll1: Fuck this, I'm going to bed.

My question is, what do we do in the future at RB? CB? OL? DL? Way to may holes. FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bingo, even if Quinn works out we'll have no team to put around him.

Let me say this about the Quinn trade. We didn't lose our second rounder...we simply traded up to use our second pick. As far as giving up next years 1st rounder...we were most likely going to use next years 1st round pick on a QB anyway. We would not have gotten this talented of a QB next year unless we picked in the top 8. Plus, you get your frachise QB at a much cheaper price than you would picking high next year. That free's up more cap money to spend in free agency next year. Very smart move IMHO.

That was certainly Savage's logic. Maybe they have gotten some great medical reports on Baxter and Bentley we don't know about. That would be some good news.

Again, I think top 8 is not only possible, but probable.

yeah but I don't think he's staying at USC especially if they win the NC this year.

He'll want to go where he'll have total control, meaning he wants to be the GM as well.

I thinking Cleveland will be definitely be on that list.....although there will be others as well I'm sure....

Cap money hasn't been a big issue with Cleveland for awhile, so that seems like you're looking for reasons to see this as a smart move.
Furthermore, there is nothing that leads me to believe Quinn will be a franchise QB. He can be a very good QB, but I'd reserve throwing franchise out for when he actually is. Many teams have shown that you can develop a late-pick QB... Frye was not that bad last year, it had much more to do with the crappy line and Droughns losing his legs (which also goes back to the crappy line).
I agree we didn't trade away our 2nd this year -- we basically just moved up. But we handed away a top-15 pick next year to do so... WAY overpaid.
And in doing so we now have no viable future in the secondary, DL, or RB.
