2007 NFL Draft (Projections/Mock Drafts/Evaluations/Draft)

I am having a hard time determining which channel to keep the coverage on. I am power surfing between ESPN and the NFL Network. If ESPN would just have Kiper, Mortensen, and Tirico, I would stay. They have like 19 people at three stages (including the studio)....everybody else, especially Keyshawn and Steve Young, STFU!!!!

But, on the other hand, Kiper kicks the shit out of Mayock at the NFL Network.

Oh well, this propaganda piece didn't work. (ND Scout $)

Colin Cowherd nailed it the other day. He said the BQ camp must know that Cleveland is not going to take him and he is out whoring himself in the press trying to "sell" himself higher. He used the analogy of when you see a big time businessman on the cover of Newsweek or Time, sell that stock because they are out trying to drive up the value before they bail.

Someone is going to get a steal with Troy...but probably not the Browns.

Even half of this board is now convinced he's not even worth a third round pick. Insane. The Browns have many big needs and QB is definitely one of them. If we don't spend a pick on it this year, then I guess we wait ANOTHER year hoping FA solves it or draft one next year so we can have someone ready by '09? It's an investment. We need a franchise QB to learn the system. I don't know. We have to do it sometime right? Unless you're still hoping CF can do it? I personally am just not sold on Frye, regardless of the line. Too bad I don't see them drafting Troy no matter what. There are a lot of needs, but I'm not one who wants to put off the QB situation any longer than necessary.
I agree.
TS won't immediately help the Browns become successful. But, no matter who they pick, they aren't going to be playoff contenders or anything in a year. Troy could, in a few years, lead them to that.. And he's probably the only third-rounder who can safely say that. IMO, pick Troy in the 3rd, if he's still available (which he probably will be). As for 2nd round picks, there are a bunch of options. They need a RB- they have a few options there (both Lynch and Pittman might be available), and they need CB's (not entirely sure who is available there).
