2007 NFL Draft (Projections/Mock Drafts/Evaluations/Draft)

4th pick is Gaines Adams.....

Now we all know the Cards won't be taking a QB, but just watch, with every pick after 5, each team will have expressed "great interest" in drafting Brady Quinn just like they did with the Bucs pick.

ESPiN is completely not fooling anyone.....

anybody else hoping that the Browns take Troy in the third round? I know Troy would enjoy that

I think they have greater needs than QB. They cannot afford to spend a first day pick on someone that will not have the potential to start this year or at least grab serious playing time. Yes, Lewis will be the primary RB, but a 2nd RB can make a big contribution. Another QB will ride the pine.

I don't think the teams in that spot will be interested in taking Quinn as much as entertaining trade offers from teams who want to take him before he gets to Miami at 9.

Someone is going to get a steal with Troy...but probably not the Browns.

Even half of this board is now convinced he's not even worth a third round pick. Insane. The Browns have many big needs and QB is definitely one of them. If we don't spend a pick on it this year, then I guess we wait ANOTHER year hoping FA solves it or draft one next year so we can have someone ready by '09? It's an investment. We need a franchise QB to learn the system. I don't know. We have to do it sometime right? Unless you're still hoping CF can do it? I personally am just not sold on Frye, regardless of the line. Too bad I don't see them drafting Troy no matter what. There are a lot of needs, but I'm not one who wants to put off the QB situation any longer than necessary.
