you can download a free pdf of the past performances of the derby horses here. though the posts have been announced, the form is not yet updated to reflect them. the drf should have one soon.

edit: form now includes post positions.

web filter won't let me see it. i'm just going to stop by the OTB by my office and pick up a copy of the Form tomorrow. i may bet on the Oaks too while I'm there:biggrin:

Curlin better hope he doesnt get squeezed and caught behind a pack of horses coming out of the 1st turn, if so he is done

i stopped by the OTB on my way to work today to bet a race at churchill and it was raining. i just looked at the forecast and its supposed to rain for the next 3 days in louisville. that changes everything. look for front runners in the mud. teuflesberg at 30-1 may be worth a look.

The Odds Favor Curlin, but History Doesn't

By Andrew Beyer
Thursday, May 3, 2007; Page E03

Of the 20 horses in the Kentucky Derby, only one possesses a record suggesting that he may be a full-fledged thoroughbred star. Curlin has made three starts in his career, winning them all by a combined total of more than 28 lengths. When he overpowered his rivals in the Arkansas Derby, he instantly became the favorite for Saturday's race.
