Another way of looking at this. For next year, we lose seniors at only these positions from the current 2-deep roster:

Starting RT
Both FB
Starting Sam-LB
Starting Long Snapper

Now 2-4 guys will probably leave early (and let's not discuss that in this thread), but the numbers returning for 2008 are amazing.

Agree the potential returning starters bode quite well for '08.....need that other thread to throw a little cold water on this topic however. :wink2:

per the gentlemen at buckeyecommentary.com

As is customary, the depth chart (pdf) was released today for the Youngstown State game. Nothing seems to classify as shocking, even with two true frosh in the Top 4 of the WR corp. Washington and Sanzenbacher only appear because of injuries to Devon Lyons and Ray Small. Similarly Eugene Clifford finds himself listed in the two deep behind Malcolm Jenkins mostly, in my estimation, because of the knee injury to Andre Amos.

Kind of sheds some light on why the freshman wide recievers are there, as well as clifford.

We need an epidemic of "Mike Doss attitude" for '08.

2007 Ohio State Football Depth Chart

Ray appears on Coach Tressel's web site depth chart? I've noticed that these two don't always agree. I have also noticed that one week some of the receivers will flip between slot and flanker?

Doesn't say when the chart on Tressel's website has been updated. Not only is Small missing from the O-Zone depth chart, but Sanzenbacher has been shifted over from the slot to flanker...

That's what I've been noticing for several weeks now. Dane is listed as slot one week and flanker the next. Sometimes, these changes show hartline in different positions too. Curious or part of a WR Experiment? You know how he likes to shift people to postions that fit the player.

It's a projected depth chart from the O-Zone, meaning they probably just made an honest error.
Nope, I don't buy that - as it says on the last cell left -
There is no second receiver at this position on

the official depth chart this week. Previously,
Ray Small followed Brian Hartline.
That isn't an error, that is an assertion.
