Actually 44820, those rankings are different than scout's recruiting rankings. While part of the scout.com network, school sports still releases their own rankings. They do this to have something to print in their magazine...

if there was ever a year where we need a good crop of LBs, it was either last year or this year. and what does the staff do? go out and get Laurinaitis and Spitler last year and then follow it up with potentially three top 100 LBs in Homan, Johnson and Gibson, as well as Moeller and possibly McCarthy. looks like the OSU LB corp should be solid for the next several years.

Here are all the linebackers on the list:

9. Brandon Graham (Michigan)
13. Sergio Kindle (Texas)
15. Micah Johnson (Kentucky)
17. Allen Bradford (USC)
28. Joshua Tatum (USC)
55. Marcus Ball
56. Thaddeus Gibson
65. Lamarr Houston (Texas)
78. Mark Johnson (Ohio State)
87. Brandon Spikes (Florida)
90. Dustin Earnest (Texas)
91. Ross Homan (Ohio State)
92. A.J. Jones
97. Jarrell Miller (North Carolina)

If Thad pulls the trigger, that gives us three LBs in the top 100 players. Not too shabby...

Mili, I know its very unlikely but if by some surprise, A.J. Jones committed to OSU that would give us four linebackers in the top 100. Just pointing out another commitment we could possibly land.

I still cannot believe that Coleman isnt getting any love from these top 100 lists and Small is not on this one.

Read a comment from Nevada a while back that the staff is incredibly excited with Coleman and feel he is a definite "5 star" level talent. Coleman will definitely be one of the top 100 players in the country once his career at tOSU is over.
