2006 NLOID Discussion (Open to All)

Although I am a little disappointed we didn't get another WR, this class overall is a very balanced and versatile class. Tress didn't only fill needs in this class but landed kids who want to be Buckeyes. Congrats to the 20 young men who will sign with OSU today and officially WELCOME TO THE BUCKEYE NATION!!!

i think lagunasurf hinted at this in a previous post, but guys like Chekwa, Coleman, Schwartz (our "speed" category guys) have the potential of ending up at several positions. Though I doubt it, one of them could potentially end up a wideout. I don't know why I'm discouraged we didn't land another WR, it isn't exactly like the cupboards are bare. I think Tress more than addresses the WR position in '07 recruiting. Lets not look ahead and just enjoy another great (underated) class by Tress and Co.

Great class by Tress and his assistants, filled positions of need with short and long term posibilities. The philosophy Tress uses to recruit, speed, big speed, and power really gives the bucks a lot of flexibility. My only regret is that Tress doesn't add a Florida speed catagory, since we know their 4.5 guys are faster than Ohio, and other states 4.5 guys.:tongue2:

Anyone know if there is going to be a press-conference with JT on TV or perhaps some signing day special on ONN?

EDIT: ONN is showing a show 6:30-7:00, Sports Site: Signing Day.... and again at 9:00
