Wade sets a new record with 25 free throws made, the most ever in an NBA Finals game.

The NBA wonders why most legends want nothing to do with the league anymore...

Wade shot more free throws than the entire Mavs team.

The funny thing is that neither announcer (including Hubie Brown who is one of the best) even questioned that foul call. They acted as if "Well, obviously that's a foul" When on all the replays, I didn't see anything.

It's just amazing how many game winning free throws are made now as compared to 5 or 10 years ago.

I noticed that too, they had me thinking "am I the only one who thought there was no foul there?"

You are right, my bad.

Either way though, its ridiculous. People think that Lebron got special treatment from the refs? You cant even breath on Wade without him flopping on the ground and getting a call.

Well the players see that they can get to the line 20 times a game just by flopping and they do it.

See Gilbert Arenas in the Cavs first round series, and look no farther than game 6 and 7 if necessary when it is going to turn around and Dirk is going to get all the calls.

There is no reason why someone should get 20 freethrows a game. Hell a whole team should be lucky to shoot around 20 in a game IMO. And a game should never be decided on a free throw in the last 5 seconds, unless it is blatant and even the old guys in the front row can see that he was mugged, but what do you expect when the officials look like they are old enough to be the players grandpa.

They just showed the "foul" again.

Fuck the NBA. How can you take the league seriously?

I almost wonder if they were 'shut up' in their earpieces. When they realized it was Dirk, not Harris, who was charged with the foul... they sort of scoffed at it with a chuckle... but quieted down after that.

I agree. He is annoying, but Bill Walton is the only NBA announcer who would ever say something like "HORRIBLE HORRIBLE call."
It's different in other sports...most NFL announcers have no problems with callling bad calls "bad calls." But I think David Stern has sent the memo out to ABC.
