Now a team like the Heat that was not dominant in any way could go all the way and win it all. IMO if the Cavs could of pulled off game 6 against the Pistons they would of been in the finals against the Mavs. Call me biased all you want, but that is my opinon.

How do you justify that? The Pistons beat the Cavs, and then the Heat handled the Pistons pretty well. You also claim that the Heat have a "far superior" supporting cast when compared to the Cavs, as in what Wade and Lebron have to work with. Let's say that Wade and Lebron are comparable as players, why would the Cavs have beaten the Heat? The Heat beat the team that defeated Cleveland, the Pistons, and then defeated a very good Dallas team.

I don't think anyone outside of Cleveland would have made that prediction.

That logic doesnt work in sports. The Pistons played like crap in the playoffs and I honestly think that the Cavs just wore down the Pistons and really caused them problems. The Pistons had to play everyother nite for about 16 days, and Flip was only playing 7 guys. They got worn out.

Ok I will explain this. I think the Heat have a better supporting cast in the way that it helps Wade showcase his talent. I believe it woudl be the same for LBJ if he had some better players around him. It would make the game easier for him. Teams double LBJ almost all game or try and box him in. When teams play the heat they don't do that to Wade they do that to Shaq. Leaving Wade with a guy to beat.

I also think that LBJ does more to help his team that Wade, which is why the rest of the cast might not be as good as some teams, but LBJ is able to keep his team in most games.

I know I have used this argument b4, but if you put Wade on the Cavs and play the Pistons I bet they would be lucky to win 1 game, and not even come close to taking it to 7 games. LBJ was putting up triple doubles. Wade just gets the points. LBJ does more for his team that anyone in the nba, and once he gets a step up in supporting cast the league is going to have to watch out.

I wasn't talking about comparing Wade's situation to Lebron's situation, I was just saying that I think the Heat were a better team, and would have beaten the Cavs if they were to play a series. Also, I never really bought into the argument that teams get "worn down" from consecutive series. These guys are professionals, and are in tremendous shape, and have been playing basketball all of their lives. They are able to recover and get ready for another series, and its not like the Heat didn't have to deal with playing their games. They are professional athletes and I doubt that they are really as "worn down" as people like to make them out to be.

I'm also not too sure that Lebron would be that much better off if he had a "better supporting cast." I think that Lebron is in his game when he is scoring all the points, and having the team based around him. Adding better players would not make him better, they would just take away shots and opportunities from him. He has the game style that consists of consistently taking over a game, and having teammates work around him. His team is good as it is, and they just need to get more experience together, rather than adding new guys. While Dwayne Wade can take over a game as well as the best of them, he is better off playing more of a "team" game. He is in a system that allows him to reach his potential, and that fits his style of play. I think that he is better at playing with teammates and making a team flow, than Lebron, who more so relies on physical dominance to take over and having all of his teammates fitting in around him.
