Lynn Dickey, Kansas State (before some of you guys were born)

Vince Ferragamo form Nebraska with the Rams (when they were in LA)

Troy Aikman (tranferred out of Oklahoma to UCLA).

Scott Frost and Eric Crouch were DBs for a while.

Chris Simms threw a couple of passes for Tampa a couple of years ago.

Kordell Stewart slashed a bit at QB for the Steelers.

Oh, did you mean playing the QB position in the NFL now? :biggrin:

when tressel stops talking about it. You wanted to know when everyone was gonna give up the teddy at CB thing too. Yet coach keeps talking about that, and Nevada's gone on record saying teddy will eventually be THE nickel CB. I don't want either one to happen with regularity, but they seem like a little more than fan dreams.

hmm.... i think i'm the only skeptic here...

you know, sometimes these boards are like playing 'telephone' when you were a kid... one minute, Jimmy Cordle has been seen on the sidelines in a boot, and the next minute, JZ is the one in the boot...

IMVHO, even though it has 'supposedly' been confirmed, i'm inclined to think that the rumor is bullshit...

is zwick hurt hurt, or being cautious hurt? id imagine even if zwick is back at 100% by the end of the week he and boeckman will likely split time. ive heard far to many good things about boeckman to believe otherwise.

now admitedly i don't fully understand the rs conscept. but why haven't they rs'd robbie yet? spread the qb talent a little thinner. i don't see us needing 4 qb's this season.

don't worry guys, mili is just cranky cause he is quickly realizing he is going to have to pay up on the "no ginn at qb" bet on the first game of the season :p.

oh and ginn will play cb next year. i still stand by the belief that he won't play cb or will play very limited this season. but if he can prove he can grasp the understanding of offense and st in addition to having the motor. i think the coaches will have a hard time justifying reasons to not give him a legit look on d as well.

it's illegal to comment on his injury, so if isn't broken, I doubt we are going to hear anything specific for a while. Plus they might want to surprise miami with a healthy zwick, or protect Zwick's weakness for cheapshots during the games.

i am not denying the fact that Jimmy Cordle is in a boot, because that is the first message of the 'telephone' game... it's when the story gets told and retold and passed on by a bunch of secondhand people that Jimmy becomes 'Justin'...

until i read it in an article, i ain't buying it...

Zwick has a minor injury, he will be fine.:roll2:

Steve Snapp told the media today that he just rolled his ankle and will miss about a week, including the scrimmage.......everyone relax.

Dave Biddle also confirms this on BN.

Good chance for TB to make an impression.
