Greenies to anyone who posts how the other top 25 fared this week.
I remember when some poll (cnnsi comparison?) used to list the rankings in AP and Coaches as well as the most recent wins/losses in the same poll for the week.
Is that still out there?
Without a few losses directly ahead of us, I say we come in at 26, just on the edge. We may move up to 20-24 by big ten play, and then we'll get a big jump with our first good win, maybe 5-6 places.

This team SHOULD be ranked come the next batch of ratings. Whether or not we end up ranked remains to be seen. As long as we keep taking these games one at a time, we'll be ranked. These guys will FINALLY get their due, without any mention of the Thad 5, soon.
Watching how these guys handle and pass the ball, get themselves open, and hit the open shots reminds me A LOT of how an Illinois team started out last year.

Looking at the rankings, we should have a legit case to overtake #25 Arizona (6-3) who lost to Houston. #18 UCLA could knock out #22 Nevada for us as we speak.
the announcers talk a lot about the thad 5, but most of the studio anchors seem to say "OSU's thad5 is gonna be good, but so is this year's team"... either way jimo is right, the pub is outstanding for our program.

Well rankings don't matter at all, but I think if we can get in there this early, come big ten time, we should be top 10 b/c I honestly don't see us losing a non-conference game unless we would lose at ISU.

That's not really what I meant, but I agree with you. The one thing tOSU needs athletic-wise is better PR.
What I meant was that these guys will make a name for themselves and get the respect that they are due, solely by their own merit, and not because of our fantastic recruiting class coming in next year.
