Mangold wasn't rated as a Top Center in the Top 20 in the Country. ( Fricken Joke)

what is supposedly the best preseason college football magazine. I usually get athlon but im looking to get two this year. Any comments on which two I should get.

I buy them all except for Phil Steele. I like Athlon, Sporting News and Lindy's. I think the Big Ten issues are more informative then the National Ones as well.

I refuse to buy any that doesn't have a Buckeye on the cover. The Sporting News one I was looking at in the grocery store last night picked OSU to win the B10 but still had a scummer on the cover. There's no way I'm going to buy crap like that.

I used to buy those things, but I've come to prefer the info I find on the internet. They generally don't have anything in those mags that you cant find for free on the web, including cheerleader pics.

I can't understand Mangold being left out at all. Fraser was overshadowed by Smith, but you would think he would get his due as a big part of a top defense in college football.

Mangold is OVERRATED
He's not to the level of Stepanovich, Bentley, Murphy, Porter and so on and yet there's all this love being thrown his way. I just haven't seen anything to warrant him being lauded as anything but AVERAGE.
The offensive player that will come out of nowhere and get accolades this year will be Ryan Hamby.
