Game Thread (2004) Game Nine: @ Michigan State - 11/06/04 (W, 6-3/3-3)

Is That Some Fucking Luck Or What...like We Need To Start On Our 1 Yard Line...time For Three Running Plays Up The Gut, Punt, They Get The Ball On The Fifty, Move It Within Field Goal Range And Now We Are Behind......its So Goddamn Predictable...and You Want To Know Why...because Of Tressel...he Plays To Close To The Vest...no Offensive Identity..its The Ninth Game...you Think They Would Have Some Idea By Now.....

It's time to hit Ginn on a slant - in stride. The LB's won't be looking for it.

It's not time to run up the middle to 'give the punter some room'.

Our offensive philosophy needs a good smack to the head. Most offenses take the field with the intent of scoring a touchdown, whereas ours seems to be to just try and take some time off the clock, maybe get a couple of first downs, and improve the overall field position. It's a mindset that needs to be changed.

of course it does, it is 100% his fault for not catching it. But Smith still needs to put it in the spot where he has the best spot to make a play. That was not it.
No ideally the inside throw would have resulted in the best result of a TD...but any ball that hits a receiver in both hands right in front of his face is on the WR

Not a perfect throw by any means but 100% on the receiver

Damn I was about to break something on that spot...then they got it right
