DE-Fraser, Kudla
DT-Green, Pitcock
MLB-Schlegel
OLB-Hawk, Carpenter
CB-Fox, Underwood
S-Salley, Mitchell

(I tend to be very conservative about young players in doing this sort of stuff. Doesn't mean that I have anything against Ginn, Whitner, Patterson, Frost, and others who could be starters).

Two things that definitely ain't f*ckin' happenin' here people:

1. D'Andrea at DE. The staff has consistently said that they have zero intention of moving him from linebacker, and we will need a solid back-up for Schlegel, and that's if Schlegel even beats out D'Andrea at MLB.

2. Fox at safety. Sheesh, how thick-headed can you be to think that he is ever going to move to safety? We lost our best (arguably) corner to the draft. The staff has repeatedly said they will not move Fox from corner. If ever we needed a talented, experience kid at corner, it's now. Yet, like a 3-year-old that stubbornly refuses to quit believing in the Easter Bunny, some people insist that Fox will move back to his so-called "natural" position.

Mili

You once stated that he was probably playing out of position, and because of that he should be given a lot of credit for doing such a fine job at corner.
I remember that well.

I actually meant this thread to be your personal starting defense. Not so much who you think will start and where they'll start.
If you want to take it as what you believe WILL be the starting defense, that's fine with me.

What staff and where did they make these comments concerning D'Andrea?

If that's the case (with D'Andrea) then I think you're looking at Kudla rotating off with Richardson, Penton or Frost - I just don't see Kudla holding it down as long as Will Smith did during the game.

Kerr is going to be the starter or backup to schlegal so what do you want D'Andrea to do, keep the bench from flying up in air?

He has too much talent to be burried in the depth chart, he has the ability to play end, and would be successful at it.

Never say never.

As far Fox, I know it is a dream, but it shouldn't be. I was answering this as if to say what I think should happen, not what is going to happen.

I have no idea where D'Andrea is going to end up but I just wonder who is going to back up Carpenter at the SAM? You would think it's going to have to be one of the 3 MIKE's we have on the roster.
