Game Thread #2 tOSU at #3 Oregon, Sat. Oct. 12, 7:30 pm ET, NBC

to an extent, sure. But most of this isn't exactly new shit. No consistent pressure. JTT being a ghost. Styles being a ghost. Knowles being safe until the worst times. The Burke showing was horrendously bad but a lot of the other defensive deficiencies were things that we see all the time.

Styles and JTT made some good plays. Not enough to matter unfortunately.

Now the one person whose name I didn't hear all game was Sawyer

Was is still not close enough to even look at? I don’t buy that. We’ve seen SEC refs go to review to add time back based on when an incomplete pass came down out of bounds, so surely this is a reviewable event

You're asking B1G refs to do like SEC refs? B1G refs can't walk and chew bubble gum at the same time, mayne....

I disagree.

This is an alleged "veteran" team. They don't need learning experiences.
Ok but they still do. They do need learning experiences. We have free agents/mercenaries and new coaches. This was a road game vs a damn good team that clicked tonight.

Everyone else can keep expecting 18-22 year olds to be perfect.

Which team/program is doing that exactly? It doesn’t work out well for us.

And that doesn’t mean I’m not disappointed. DLine pressure was no where. Howard was tripping over himself late.

Again, we actually have grace/time in this 12 team era so give it to them.

And beat Michigan. All I care about as step 1 this year.

Listen to me folks. Those who have known me on the board a long time understand what I'm about to say...

Nothing good ever comes out of Manhattan, Kansas.

The fact that the QB took that horrendous sack on the last series says enough for me.
Fuck you Alex.

You got your ass beating coming in 2 weeks.

And fuck anyone else who puts it at Wills feet who didn’t turn the ball over, threw for 300, completed 70+ percent of his throws, and gave his team a shot.

Day has to take blame for the last drive. Some terrible decisions there. JJ is a certified baller but he can't act rash there with the OPI. Howard has to know the time left on the clock that's a rookie mistake.
I still don't agree with OPI if you jam the receiver and get shuck it's on you. it's not like they were running with each other and he pushed off for extra seperation at the end of the route
