Spotting Clemson a 14-0 lead is a death knell....and maybe it's due to the shitastic day I've had, but I have a feeling it's going to be exactly that.

i'd be more sure of myself (and certainly still wrong) if clemson were a known quantity. but they seem like a grab bag that is one-third snicker bars and two-thirds cat shit.

first, there is very little tape of osu executing short crossing patterns like we saw so much last year. fields may not be haskins, but this schematic change wouldn't be something that clemson has prepared all that much for. and it should be something that our receivers can thrive on.

second, we've run very few exotic blitzes using our corners and safeties. i think the staff hasn't called them because they haven't needed to. i think they'll need to tonight.

I respect the hell out of Clemson and they can definitely beat us but I refuse to believe our most dominant team since the 70's is gonna get housed like some media types think. Too much talent and depth. Fields just can't take bad sacks or fumble

I can't get the Orange Bowl out of my mind. From a certain point of view, Ohio State blowing that game helped Clemson over the hump vis a vis "big games"....maybe Ohio State is the stopper to all that, but maybe they'll just be another bump in the road this year. we will see.
