Very significant. The only one I thought was bad was the scoop and score reversal. The targeting was legit.

if OSU plays well, they win. That’s the bottom line. They didn’t play well.

Holding a 16-0 lead over the defending champs who also have one of the highest scoring offenses in college football is playing quite "well" TBH.

Can't expect Clemson to not make plays offensively and defensively.

You just made my point. OSU started the game playing well, then they stopped playing well and look what happened.

Clemson has a lot of talent. They weren’t going to go down easy. It’s pretty typical of them to get down early in big games due to not being battle tested. Once they adjust, it’s game on. That’s what happened yesterday.

Which continues to beg the question of his lack of participation in the game last night. He’s obviously been Fields go to guy most of the season, yet was conspicuously absent from most of the game.

In my mind, Olave has been a near perfect player to this point of his Buckeye career. His routes are so smooth and he has come up with dynamic plays in some of the biggest games - like his TD catch on 4th down last night. I haven't noticed any blips until the Penn St., Michigan, and B10 Championship games, where he had a significant drop in each (some would have been long TDs). Last night, it seemed like he bailed out of bounds on a catch or two where he could have gotten yardage after the catch. He also took a false start late in the game, turning a 3rd-and-4 into a 3rd-and-9, which was really unfortunate. Then there was obviously the game-ending play, for which Olave has taken responsibility, whether or not that is correct. Those are honestly the first signs of imperfection I've seen out of Olave to this point in his career. He has been that good. Can't wait to see him come back stronger and hungry next season.

Nobody expected them to go down easy. And no one is arguing relative to talent. Fabio had a great game exposing the Buckeyes middle in the run game.

The targeting call changed the complexity of the game. Remember that was when we were up 16-0 and preparing to get the ball back after the sack. Losing Wade was huge to the Buckeyes defense.

No, I didn't make your point. You can play well and still not score everytime. You can play well and give up some points. If I'm a DB and I'm in a WR's back pocket but he sky balls a catch, It's not like I played poorly. You just have to tip your cap that somebody's 'good' may have been just a bit better that time.

We had a few plays get away from us, both of the notable ones to Dobbins. But despite Clemson adjusting and making some plays of their own, the Bucks held ground and kept it close. Game of momentum... give and take. Unfortunately there was no better play from the Buckeyes than forcing a fumble, returning said fumble only to have it overturned by the booth. The secondary couldn't have played that better after the catch. So all you can really do is just shrug. That isn't somehow NOT playing well, as much as being a victim of some questionable officiating. Point being, it's possible to play quite well overall and still not win.

sure was a big play. It was the turning point of the game.

Wade should not have made that mistake.
