Here’s my thing: if we have another “two-quarter struggle” it’s going to get ugly. This is an insanely dynamic offense led by a quarterback who could have been the first overall pick after his freshman season.

Seriously, you go down 14 that defense is going to become so aggressive and blit relentless and the offensive line has pass protection issues; this’ll be the most athletic front 7 this line has faced. I struggle with thinking the light just comes on and we start stopping them and start scoring if we can’t at least keep pace early.

You can keep saying “we are the best they’ve played” is a mutual sentiment; they’re the best team we’ve faced in like two years.

But I don’t know man, down 21-6 to Alabama in 2015 and it was 21-20 at the half and we know how that went.

Clemson’s terrifying — plain and simple.

“We’re disrespected!”

You’re one play away from losing to a 6-6 squad. Deal with it.

We’ll see who is disrespected when Dobbins and this offensive line takes the field against your vastly overrated defense.

IIRC the 2013 squad had issues as well.

Your point seems to be that if Wiscy can limit OSU's offense for the first half, then Clemson might also. But I think Wiscy's run defense is probably significantly better than Clemson's (correct me if wrong). As someone said earlier, we might need Dobbins to grind out long drives and play keep away from Clemson's offense for the first half.

Virginia's first 2 or three drives were essentially TD drives, but I think the first one ended in an end zone interception.

Clemson has a big boy offense. If we play base a majority of the time and expect to hold them under 30...Hafley and Mattison are dreaming. I’m sure the resident stat monsters can tell me how Mattison has done when facing teams ranked in the top 5 .

Marching out there and excpecting Werner to rotate as a deep field disguise will most likely not work. Coming out in base and attempting to play as much zone as we have also isn't an effective idea. Lawrence is a good young QB with solid eyes. Need to send a variety of different looks at him. Specifically ones he and the Clemson coaching staff aren't expecting.

On offense? Pass pro was usually solid. However you had a future NFL receiver playing QB who stalled out the passing game more often than not.

On defense? Christ... where to even begin.

I hope they watch film of what Sammy Watkins did to us and as a unit make sure it doesn't happen again.

Pretty simple, he ate up off coverage and out muscled our corners to the ball. We have athletes at the perimeter, I hope our coaching staff lets them loose. I'd love to see some bump and throw their timing off with TL.

Re: and a whole 38 actual fans got tickets before scalpers bought the rest and put them on StubHub at 19x the original price.

A bowl game several years ago.....
There is a guy named 'Barney Rubble' that is selling good seats cheap if you are interested.

Just sayin': You still need to be careful who you buy tickets from.

People like to talk up the Ostarine thing, but the truly unfair advantage they've had is at coordinator.

Jeff Scott is going to be Dabo's first coordinator departure in their 5 year run in the playoffs, and he's not losing him for this one either. That's unreal.
