This is a set of sixteen (16) cards from the 1942 National Championship team with autographs.

Bill Willis #42/100 anyone? Number 42 of 100 in a set of the 1942 team is pretty damn cool. The fact he is a HOFer and no longer with us make this card a keeper.
(@Bucklion thought you might want to see this card regardless of bidding or not)

J.T White the only man besides Boren to play for both teams in The Game. His is #15/100

These are from the TK Legacy 2005 and 2007 sets so it isn't a complete set of either one but it is the majority of that team. They are in mint condition and come in the plastic covers you see here.

The others you see in the above pictures are;
Carmen Naples
Bill Sedor
Robert Jabbusch
Ken Coleman
Robert McCormick
Gordon Appleby
Don Steinberg
Dante "Glue Fingers" Lavelli
Cecil "Cy" Souders
Paul Priday
Tommy James
Bob Shaw
Hal Dean
Gene Fekete

I have tried for many years to locate the card for the famous All American TE on that team, Giovani Strassini but alas, haven't had any luck in tracking it down. Its quite the rare item.

So, sans the Strassini card, that is the rundown. I think it is a very cool bit of Buckeye history. Hopefully you all agree.

Auction ends 8/10/14 at 9pm eastern

Starting Bid: $9.99 with free shipping

Bid as often as you like, Good Luck!!!

Heck, if Jax is going to give this stuff away, I might as well bid $25 on this set, too.

Three cards alone make it worth the price: 1) the Bill Willis card (obviously); 2) Gene Fekete (Dad and Gene coached together in the Columbus City League back when it was dominant; Dad at North, Gene at West); and 3) Donte Lavelli, one of Dad's all-time favorite players. If only the Strassini card were included, this could really be worth something.
