The recruiting process for Andrew Nembhard has sped up significantly. One of the top playmakers in high school basketball, Nembhard made noise earlier this month by reclassifying into the 2018 class and, as a result, some of the top schools in college basketball have come calling.

Five programs have begun to stand out for the five-star prospect.

“Probably, Florida, Stanford, Gonzaga, and UConn, the most, but Ohio State is coming in, too,” he said.
Ohio State: “They just came in recently. I went on an unofficial visit there before the coaching change. I really like the campus and everything. I just feel like I could fit in and run the point guard spot for them.”

nembhard was scheduled for an official visit to uconn this weekend, but the buckeyes appear to have secured it instead due to the husky's recent commitment from a top point guard.

Ohio State to welcome four to town

The Buckeyes will welcome four key recruits to campus, just a week after hosting a trio of targets.

Four-star guards Andrew Nembhard, of Montverde (Fla.) Academy, and Eric Hunter, of Indianapolis (Ind.) Charles Tindley, are both expected to be in Columbus, per sources.

Was thought to be leaning towards Florida but supposedly has been following a lot of OSU folks on his social media recently. Could Simons now leaning towards UF help OSU here?
I thought that are main competition would be Gonzaga but I have not looked at his account lately. I know that according to 247 that Few was his main recruiter. We shall see.
