At 6'8, Nance possesses a skillset that is unmatched by his counterparts at the four spot. He is able to stretch the floor offensively with a smooth stroke and is a gifted passer out of the high post or with his back to the basket. Nance is fundamentally sound, capable of using either hand to make cross court passes or finish with a soft touch around the rim. His ability to handle the basketball and shoot it off the bounce or pick and pop situations makes the rising senior an intriguing prospect. Moving forward, adding strength and being more physical/aggressive, particularly on the glass, are two areas that will need to be addressed.

Pete's numbers don't jump out at you, but neither did his older brother's. I remember seeing his HS highlights and thinking he was good enough to be a B1G-level player, so I was surprised at the Wyoming venture. Looks like Pete could really be a nice replacement for Bazley, seeing as he is listed at 6-10, has a good pedigree, and sounds like he has a solid character about him.

I also like the mentality that his older bro brings to the game. He is striving to become a Defensive player of the year-candidate.

I know I am biased but Ohio State would be a great place for Pete Nance imo.

Why? Because Coach Matta and staff are great coaches and great people, have a very long list of players as NBA No 1 draft picks, recruiting really good players now like Goodwin, Ahrens, Beverly and Wesson brothers and OSU is just a great University too.
