rivals and 247 list an offer from ohio state, but no other source (player, coach, espn, twitter, verbalcommits, etc.) has confirmed. however, the staff has expressed enough interest recently that an official statement is unnecessary. ho1tmann would take moore today if he could.

Commitment date is set for top-50 Khavon Moore

Valued for his versatility in the backcourt but gifted with quality length, ball skills and two-way abilities, Moore updated where things stand within his recruitment. “It is going well. As of now, I am narrowing down my final visits to Oklahoma, Alabama, Texas Tech, and Ohio State. I think I want to commit on my senior night which is September 26,” he said. “Each school, I have really good relationship with the coaches and I like the way that they play.”

Moore has taken one official visit to date, a trip that took place to Florida the first weekend of September. The Gators are no longer in contention as he has begun to focus on Oklahoma, Alabama, Texas Tech and Ohio State.

Strange date for a commitment must be a birthday or something While I love his athleticism, which we are definitely lacking, he needs to put some meat on those bones in order to compete with the big boys but with good weight training I am sure that will come. Go get him CH.

I did not realize that we were so involved with this recruit that we are in his final 4. He suffered a pretty leg injury recently and I have no idea the extent of the injury. I doubt if he commits to us but

Has a cast on his leg until February 8 and will not be able to make official visits until after then but the Buckeyes are still on his list and for some strange reason I have a feeling about this one

Moore took an official visit to Florida in the fall, but the Gators are no longer in contention for his commitment. College interest has not been lacking though, as Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Tennessee and Mercer have remained in touch the most often, he said. Along with those five, Virginia Tech and Illinois are two others working their way into the picture.

Moore, a super versatile wing that can play anywhere from the one through the four on the offensive end, is valued for his playmaking skills and long-term potential as a multi-positional defender. He has become a better jump shooter in recent months while continuing to shine as a rebounder and creator for others.
