Just like the earlier QB keeper where Stevie Brown completely ignored his assignment and let the QB run right around him... all-everything DE Brandon Graham had tunnel vision on the inside handoff fake.

Andy Schmidt had to run about 30 yards on a rollout run (which started 10 yds from endzone). No one was anywhere near him for the first 25 yards. UM finally hit him as he crossed the goalline.

Horrendous defense so far.

JB Fitzgerald continues to sit on the sldeline, despite Mouton's suspension. Instead, walkon LB Leach is starting and not doing very well (though veteran starter Ezeh has also had a bad day, a common occurrence these days).

Craig Roh, unlike veterans Brown & Graham, actually stays disciplined and does his job, and swallows up the QB rollout for a big loss.

Donovan Warren bails out EMU though, with a complete whiff on an underneath pass, setting up 3rd & short. EMU throws a completion for a first but it is dropped.

Tay Odoms catches the ball with 10 yards to spare from the sidelines... bobbles it three separate times, and a long pass is reversed after the replay (never had possession).. Good throw by Denard wasted by a lack of concentration.

Denard forces a throw, late, over the middle into double coverage. Easy interception by EMU's bad safeties... EMU ball at UM's 40.

EMU first down run outside, to the 30. 10-24 UM w/ 4 min before half.

EMU big run on 1st down, sets up 2nd & short... convert to set up 1st & 10 at the 12 with 2:30 left. EMU is gashing UM outside, inside. .

Even with penetration, EMU's rb runs through arm tacklers and rumbles for 5 yds.

EMU off tackle with an enormous hole (they've run left every single play I believe).

16-24 2 min left. XP upcoming.

John Clay has to be salivating for their matchup.
