If they play like they did today against Indiana that game could get interesting. I have watched Indiana play all three games and they have improved every game. Fisher is now a db and had a TD on special team. If Michigan throws Int's like they did today they could lose. Indiana has 2 studs DE's (Kirlew is no joke)unlike their 1st 3 opponents. They also have some young studs WR's. I guarantee the indiana game will be closer than 45-17.

Michigan will probably win but they better come to play.

I'm pretty happy we can come out as iffy-looking as we did and still win by 28. The running game was absolutely beastly. I just wish our offensive linemen would stay healthy. I'm not as worried about Forcier getting hurt (certainly not actively rooting for a near-career-ending concussion like some) but I will be soon if the offensive line keeps taking hits and the first-stringers are out for long periods of time.

That's not really an accomplishment. EMU would make Lydell Ross look good.

Against ESU, Army's top 3 rushers averaged 21.8 ypc, 6.3 ypc & 10.4 ypc.

You're not worried about a very thin QB who gambles in the pocket (but isn't extremely elusive there) getting hurt, despite him getting his bell rung hard twice against tiny EMU defenders?

There's also the matter of his frequent ball-security gambles... as he does not protect the ball when he scrambles, and certainly doesn't have the upper body strength to maintain possession like that through traffic. That's the reason the unthinkable happened in fall camp, sheridan being 1c on the qb depth chart.

There are already posts over on the scout board about the defense not being a concern because "we can outscore just about everyone left on our schedule."

There's the Rich Rod philosophy taking root. Don't stop em', just outscore em'.

We'll see how that goes over once they run into a defense with more than warm bodies lining up against them.

I am analyzing Michigan Jwins they play Indiana next week. Talking about the Indiana/Michigan game is relevant to this thread.

Indiana has played two MAC teams just like Michigan. Indiana might be the worst team in the B10 after week one but they have improved every week. WATCH SOME GAMES...PLEASE.

If Indiana can Give Chappel some time their WR's will have a big day. I would not be suprised to see Fisher play all three phases Saturday.

If Indiana cannot run they will get beat.

I think the conference is more balanced than people think. I watched some of the Cal/Minnesota game. That was closer than the score indicated. MSU played ND really tough. Michigan isn't as good as their fans think.

Iowa is rolling. Wisconsin QB Tolzien is the best throwing QB I have ever seen at Wisconsin. Graham and his other TE BUDDIES ARE STUDS. tHEY HAVE 3 GREAT RB's.

Michigan has played nobody...I mean nobody. MAC teams and a very overated ND team mean nothing. Obviously Michigan and MSU are as good as ND. We will see how Purdue does...I expect Purdue to hang tough.

BTW PSU is overated Iowa beats them this week. PSU gets exposed this week.

Well considering Denard Robinson is one of the most physically talented players in all of college football, woudln't mind him playing the slot. Not many players have his combination of great agility, acceleration, and speed. Lots of players only have 1 or 2 of those things, very few have all 3.

You just sold Wisconsin, Purdue & Indiana as teams to be reckoned with in conference. I'd say you're grossly overselling them, at least overall (obviously John Clay vs UM's undersized and mediocre run D could prove problematic, but I don't see them doing that well against most teams).

Lots of players only have 1 or 2 of those things, very few have all 3.

Florida had 4 of them.

Denard is very explosive, but let's try and save the nearly peerless hyperbole until after they play a decent defense.

That's not hyperbole, just a statement of fact. There are a handful of players in the country that possess that kind of raw physical talent. Probably less than 100 in all of FBS football. There are not very many QB's that can run like that either.

Robinson's accuracy is a little off right now, but I've seen all three of their QB's throw in practice and warm-ups, and Denard has the strongest arm of all of their QB's. If he improves his accuracy and once he learns that offense in and out the chances of him staying at QB will greatly increase.

Bottom line is that he's the 2nd best option we have right now. Even though his decision making and accuracy needs a lot of work he's still a better option than Sheridan.
