guessing wright will employ houston's approach and double/triple-team kaleb at every chance, while isolating him against robinson-earl on the other side of the court. force non-kaleb players to show up. to counter, ho1tmann may set up kaleb primarily on the outside for interior duck-ins and ball screens while others are sent on basket cuts. interior passes to young and liddell must be much, much better. that goes without saying. think we'll also see ho1tmann try to push tempo as much as possible to downplay the size disadvantage and perhaps target nova's shallow backcourt depth. gaffney must give us + minutes because we need his length and we need him to spell liddell/young/kaleb when they pick up fouls.

From my untrained eye, this is as much of a toss up as it gets. Way too early but definitely a game where we’ll learn more about both teams once it’s done.

My advice? There’s plenty of other games with good betting value on the board. Don’t touch this one.

And go Bucks.

i'm not actually betting money on nova +3. i almost never bet on osu except for when the line looks like free money. or if i'm betting against a fan of the opponent.

that being said, i wouldn't take osu -3 and i wouldn't take osu straight up. obviously hope i'm wrong and i've never claimed that i'm usually right, but i just don't like facing a bunch of long and talented small/power forwards when we're out our two best defensive small forwards. i'd be more confident if washington and muhammad had so far shown better offensive performances. if we're going to win, my guess is that it will be because of our 1s and 2s, not our 3s and 4s. the good news is that nova is no more experienced than osu. too bad our arena is poor at rankling young teams. we weren't even close to selling out for cincinnati.

I was just giving you a hard time , ha. I would take a 2 point victory and I also wouldn’t blame somebody if they took Villanova. Not having Andre for this game really sucks . Robinson-Earl could give us some serious problems . Pretty much the same reasons you said . Here’s to a W!
