Coached against him last summer in the certified event in Myrtle Beach and I came away impressed. Great footwork and a very nice finisher around the rim.

Saw him play Friday night. Agree that he has good footwork, soft touch, knows how to use his body and has a good understanding of the game. He's gotten a bit taller as well and is easily an inch or two taller than Moyer who most list at 6'8". I think he's a C all the way as I don't think he'll have enough lateral quickness to play the 4 which some recruiting services have projected him at. He doesn't play much above the rim, but he does jump quickly and has pretty good instincts.

I like what I have seen of Ward. He may be one of those guys that ends up being underrated with continued improvement. I do think he has an element of girth and skill that is missing from the OSU roster moving forward.

his gahanna squad murdered my sons school (watkins memorial)this past weekend. my son said ward played very well and he was excited to tell me the rumor was he was about to commit....hopefully to OSU

Ward has committed to MSU per Zach Fleer. Gonna be a thorn in OSU's side for 4 years. Don't like seeing a good local prospect like this at a rival.

I do not like losing local products either especially to MSU in basketball but from all indications he was a MSU lean before Funderburk or Potter committed and out of the three I can live with the latter two very easily.
