Iran Bennett making big impact in NC’s sophomore class

Iran Bennett has made a big impact at newly founded Bull City Prep. Standing 6’9 with a reported 7’5 wingspan, the sophomore has made his presence felt, both literally and figuratively.

Blessed with soft hands and very good feet, Bennett has shown flashes of developing a reliable post game. He also rebounds the ball well in his area, walls up on defenders, and shows good vision passing the ball out of the post. Having shed over 75 pounds throughout the last two years, there is still room for more on Bennett’s nearly 300-pound frame. Still, the progress that he has made since his days at Body of Christ lead you to believe that his best days of basketball are clearly ahead of him.
