That was awesome.

I don't know where they got there information about VO2 max though. Not even close. And I really doubt anyone has ever gotten a scholarship because they had a high VO2 max.

I'm referring to the male broadcaster at the end of the segment who said that colleges find kids with high VO2 max numbers and offer them a scholarship because they know they will be good at something. My point was that his statement was ridiculous and he has no idea what he is talking about.

Wow. IF that kid ends up anywhere near 6 feet tall he could be....... I dont even want to say it. The mile in under 5 minutes! Disgusting.

I couldn't run a mile in under 5 when I was in the 10th grade. (the last time I timed myself). the numbers would be closer to 6 now that I'm fat and old. Closest I ever came was 5:17 and I thought I was moving back then. Kids a freak.

:oh::io:

That kid is so incredibly fast for his age. That's pretty insane. [sarcasm]If he played football, he'd be beyond SEC fast. He'd be like, wow, I don't even know. Maybe SEC in 50 years fast?[/sarcasm]

But seriously, that's crazy. If he gets to around 6 feet, he has a ton of potential.
