Esa will likely make his decision before Bragg, and for that matter so will Giddens. So if both Ahmad and Giddens commit, that just about wraps things up. Brian Snow recently mentioned that the talent level is not that wide of a differential between Bragg and Ahmad.

Does anyone know if Esa is still announcing this month? I know he's playing in the Nike Global event this weekend with Giddens, Grandstaff, and Omari Spellman. I'm not sure how many other visits he can get in since he should have school starting later this month.

According to InsideMDSports.com, Ahmad will take an official visit to College Park, this weekend. He previously took a pair of unofficial visits to Maryland's campus during a busy summer.

His early August visit to Ohio State was also an unofficial one, and an undetermined, official visit may follow. In the meantime, Ahmad has pushed college decision into September, when he is now expected to choose between the Buckeyes and Terrapins, as well as Oregon, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

I just have a bad feeling regarding Maryland even though Esa roomed with Grandstaff at the Kevin Durant Skills Academy

according to an article at Cleveland.com he will be making his decision sometime before the beginning of his high school basketball season so I do not know if his decision will be made this month or next

He just officially visited WV last weekend and is hosting all 5 finalists for visits this week at his school - reportedly. I think TM is at his school today or tomorrow. Then he is officially visiting tOSU this coming weekend.

Some think he might end the suspense after this weekend. We'll see!

if that is true then it is only really 3 schools that he will be selecting from because he has not visited Wisconsin or Oregon so I cannot see him selecting one of those two but stranger things have happened.

Correct Litl. If it goes beyond this weekend or so then he may schedule his officials for ORE and WIS - since he hasn't taken them yet.

Most think because he is close to BOTH PARENTS that he is unlikely to go to school so far away that they couldn't attend his games. So ORE is a stretch. Many think it will be tOSU or WV for proximity reasons at this point.

Yeah, it seems like he may have enough information to make a decision this weekend, and not having his last 2 visits scheduled with all these in-home visits this week may be a sign he thinks he will be ready. Let's hope he decides to pick the good guys this weekend!
