The resume Carlton Bragg has to his name as one of the top basketball recruits for the Class of 2015 is impressive.
In the mind of the junior-to-be at Villa Angela-St. Joseph, the resume is incomplete.
Despite being ranked among the top players in the nation in his class, the 6-foot-9 forward is spending his summer honing his skills as offers from colleges continue to pour in.
After averaging 16.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in a tertiary role with the Vikings last season, Bragg could probably maintain his status quo and still be one of the nation's top recruits when he graduates in two years.
That's just not his style."I'm having fun with it," Bragg said of his rigorous schedule of workouts, camps and college visits. "But I'm working hard. Really hard. I'm going to do whatever it takes to get better."
ragg and his VASJ teammates recently returned from the Eastern Ohio Basketball Camp, orchestrated by Larry Huggins, the brother of West Virginia coach Bob Huggins. The camp was the most recent stop for Bragg, who has attended a handful of other camps this season to go along with visits to Cleveland State, Illinois and UCLA.
He will take an unofficial visit to Ohio State on Friday.
"I'm not in a hurry to make a decision," the soft-spoken forward said. "I'll make a decision by the end of my senior year."
Bragg said he enjoyed his recent trip to Illinois. Fighting Illini coach John Groce, former assistant at Ohio State, was instrumental in recruiting VASJ's David Lighty.

ESPN 60 PF Carlton Bragg showed off his incredible athleticism on Friday at the adidas Invitational.
Bragg got a win and stepped up his game to another level in the second half against Dream Vision 16s in the afternoon session. He came out and made a 3-point shot, and when you watch the rotation on his jumper, it’s textbook. He also sprinted the floor and got some transition dunks as he plays the game with a high energy level and a smile.
During the night session, Bragg brought it again as he continued to produce. Potential from a year ago is now shaping into a player as Bragg is steadily contributing at both ends of the floor. His superior athletic ability was evident in both contests on Friday. His size, weight and length give him such an advantage in the paint and finishing in transition or in the half court.
He is also a committed rebounder with two hands at and above the rim as he will move to go get the ball. Several times on Friday he secured the possession and then utilized a bust-out dribble to attack the defense. At times he was successful, but other times he was going too fast and turned the ball over. On the defensive end, his long arms and great mobility make him hard to score over as he blocks or alters shots. He can also hedge out on ball screens with speed.
At this stage of his career he is an excellent finisher and drives to score with ease. When he approaches the rim, there’s always the potential for a highlight. He has also shown a mid-range jumper on a consistent basis with a developing 3-point shot. His is ultra-talented and his potential is starting to turn into production as his body and game continue to grow.
Wojo (Duke) was in to watch him on Saturday for one of the games.Honestly, I'm not sure why programs like Duke, UK, etc. have not offered Carlton yet. Just seems like a no-brainer pro prospect and has a great attitude.
Indiana recruit 'hungry' for basketball success
Ohio's Bragg lists Hoosiers among his favorites

INDIANAPOLIS -- Sometimes a guy just has to wear Superman socks.
Or does he?
Well, when you're 16 years old and rate among the nation's top Class of 2015 players, as Ohio's Carlton Bragg is, wearing socks that include a red cape that flaps when you run can resonate like an Armani suit.
So there was Bragg, a 6-9, 208-pound forward with enough major college offers to stuff a suitcase, hustling all over last week's adidas Invitational with socks few outside of their teenage years would dare wear.
For the record, Bragg and an Ohio Basketball Club teammate wore them after a spur-of-the-moment purchase at Wal-mart.
?You like them?? he asked a group of cynical journalists, who looked like they'd rather wear dresses than Superman socks.
?It's different,? Bragg added with a smile.
Fashion sense doesn't overshadow basketball talent, which Bragg has. He is rated the No. 12 overall Class of 2015 player by Rivals.com, a national Internet recruiting service, and the No. 4 power forward. He has the power to dominate the paint and the shooting range to hurt you deep.
?He's got excellent skills,? Ohio Basketball Club coach Anthony Stacey said. ?I'm impressed with his work ethic. His jump shot is really, really good. He's still hungry. He's a very nice kid. He's a pleasure to coach.
?The kid has had some success, but he isn't satisfied with that. He's been working a ton. He's had a great summer so far. You can see why he's in the top 15 in the nation. He's pretty good.?

CINCINNATI ? Five-star Cleveland forward Carlton Bragg is picking up countless scholarship offers from colleges across the country, including Indiana University, but there are four more he wants to join the fray to bolster his recruiting r?sum?.
?I just need Louisville and Kentucky, and that?s about it,? the rising junior said Saturday at the adidas All-In Classic. ?And Duke and North Carolina.?
The fact that the 6-foot-8, 200-pound Bragg, rated No. 12 in the 2015 class by Rivals.com, believes offers from those four national championship-winning programs are attainable helps prove his status as an elite prospect.
Further evidence is the list of schools already in pursuit.
Ohio State?s Thad Matta, Michigan?s John Beilein and Illinois? John Groce were some of the head coaches who watched his Saturday morning victory with the Ohio Basketball Club?s 16-and-under team. Indiana?s Steve McClain and staff members from West Virginia and Michigan State ? the most recent school to make an offer ? were among the assistants in attendance.
