Sophomore receiver Thaddeus Snodgrass (Springfield, Ohio/Springfield) had a nice surprise waiting for him on the other side of the line when he called the Ohio State coaching staff Friday. He called to talk with an assistant coach, and, after briefly doing that, the phone was passed on to Urban Meyer.

"It was a great experience," Snodgrass said.
