Matt Elam tells me he picked up an offer from Ohio St today. #Buckeyes

At that size he is almost Worthington-esque. Interesting offer list to say the least. Previous offers from Kentucky, Indiana, Western Kentucky and Louisville and then goes down to camp at Alabama and blows everyone away including Coach Smart and Coach Saban to the point that he leaves with what appears to be a legit offer. He is also camping at Florida and it will be interesting to see if he leaves there with an offer as well.

That's a Big Boy.

At 6' 6"" and 350 lbs this kid isn't just a defensive tackle, he's an entire defensive line. :tongue2:

In addition, he appears to have a pretty good athletic build. With a good strength/conditioning program, and if he has any quickness/technique at all; I can see him pancaking undersize guards and centers.

Just sayin': if he comes to Ohio State he should request for #72: he kind of reminds me of this guy (who was a fairly good DT here back in the early 1990s):

I think he wants #69, based on pictures I've seen from visits at other schools and his Twitter name. 'Course, high school numbers rarely mean anything.

Right now it looks like Kentucky leads, and his mom would like him to stay close to home. A lot can change between now and the AA game though. If Kentucky has a poor year under Stoops that could change things.
