I dont know if theres a solid focus on bigger dbs, 2014 just so happens to be a year where almost all the elite dbs are 6ft or taller. In 247's top 100, only 2 recruits are under 6ft. Adoree jackson whos acually 5'11'', and a db from tx thats 5'9", thats it. 2013 was a very deep year for dbs, and 2014 seems to have followed that up, but with even more size and just as much speed.
