Height: 6 foot 2
Weight: 205 lbs.

Per Kurelic...
The Buckeyes will be in Florida Wednesday (May 1) to watch quarterback Zack Darlington throw. Darlington will get his shot to be only the second 2014 QB to receive an OSU offer.
11W
Apopka (Fla.) junior Zack Darlington has 12 scholarship offers at this point (including West Virginia, Virginia Tech and Nebraska, among others), a state title in Florida's largest division (8A), an All-American game invitation under his belt and a 3.3 GPA to go along with his 6-foot-2, 210-pound, twice-verified 4.43-forty frame. A self-described "football junky," Darlington gets his chance today to wow the Buckeyes, and an offer from the Buckeyes would be difficult for him to pass up, according to those in the know.

He may not be as highly touted as the other two recent offers, but I love this kids film. He can move well, and throws a nice looking ball. I really like this kid and would be happy if he ended up being our QB. I actually like his film better than Barkers.

I'm far from an expert at judging QBs, but it looks like he has a solid stance, foot work, and delivery. Playing in the biggest division in Florida and being a state champion is a great intangible, as well. I was impressed with his film.

Intersting. We offer a great passer with average running skills, a great runner with average throwing skills, then a composite with Darlington. The first thing that stands out to me is his team is crazy talented...#19 and #12 have to have some serious offers. But Zach is a player in his own right...just a really uncanny style and find his way to make plays whether with his feet or arm. Throws a good deep ball and has nice touch. Above average arm strength. Really odd throwing motion, not sure if it is one you fix or let it work like Rivers. I'm wondering if these are not offers, but an invite to all come to camp and compete for the OFFER. I doubt we are doing a first come, first serve deal here.

I'm on the road to a wedding, but I was able to catch up with Zack to talk to him about his Ohio State offer and wanted to share a couple of quotes.

On how he felt receiving the offer: "Blessed. I've been working for this one for a while now and God continues to bless me. I can't believe it. I have a chance to play under the coach of multi-national titles, numerous Heismans and first-rounders. Maybe I can add my name to that list."

On when he may decide: "Hopefully soon. This definitely makes Ohio State a top choice for me and I hope to decide before my season starts."

On what the staff told him: "They said I reminded them of Tim Tebow with my will to win and work harder than anyone else."

Tom Herman didn't fly all the way down to LA to verify whether Harris can run. You say the kid has average throwing skills, but the coaches offered three other guys over your guy Barker. Trust the coaches on this one. :wink2:
