Both of our current starting guards were recruited as tackles out of HS. The only position you truly recruit for inside is center, and then play your best guys with the largest wingspan on the edge.

Kid has a TON of skill...once he gets some better technique, he could be a force. He is a strong run blocker, but overextends and gets away with not using his legs while engaged to drive the defender. Also doesn't kick back into his pass pro and mostly gets by on his wingspan and strength to keep defenders at bay. Once David works on his technique and fills out, he could be a force.

@ 6'8" and already 275, going to only get bigger once he gets in a college weight room. Unless he is running a 4.7 @ 300 pounds, he is staying on the o-line. That length would be nice off the edge though. Matta could use another athletic, big-bodied power forward like that...lol
