I have known Bucky for a long time. Coached him when he played Pop Warner for the Virginia Beach Mustangs. Big QB who I think is still growing into his body. He has a good arm, and while he is not a blazer, he has the ability to escape the pocket. Bucky is a good kid with a VERY active (sometimes overly active) dad. I think Bucky is a major Va Tech lean as I think he wants to stay in state. He has some talent around him, including his top WR Kwamane Bowens.

You did not coach Bucky -- because Bucky's coaches would have never something nice to turn around & bash. Not a blazer? Yeah, I guess at 6'6" and 220lbs running a 4.6 (40) is not blazingly fast. You gotta be kidding me.

I do not believe that I was bashing Bucky. I was giving my honest assessment. I think the issue here is our definition of blazer. As I said, he can run, and he can move the chains with his feet. I just do not put him in the RGIII/Mike Vick/B Miller mold.

While I feel I have nothing to prove, if you do not believe that I coached Bucky, I would be more than willing to prove it in private. I am not trying to come on here like I am the young man's best friend or that I know secrets about him or his recruitment. I moved from Virginia Beach (Navy) during his Freshman year at Salem. I have continued to stay in contact with him, and some of the other players I coached, as well as with many of the Virginia Beach Mustang coaches.

I have been on this board since 2007 mostly as a lurker to stay connected with Ohio State recruiting. I have commented on the recruiting threads of only two players. Tajh Boyd, and now Bucky both of whom played pop warner football for the Virginia Beach Mustangs.

I think Bucky is going to be a big time recruit and I hope he becomes a Buckeye! I have NOTHING bad to say about the young man.

A legitimate 4.6 is "Cam Newton" fast - and also "Andrew Luck" fast as well. I'll take their athelticism at QB any day.

By Givler...talks about his recruiting coach at OSU and liking Coach Meyer's offense...wants to visit the in-state schools soon and likes WVU's offense as well.
