Love that film...Rolin is my top pure LB on the board (think Smith is a better prospect just to be clear but as southcampus said, may not be a LB though). Kid is big, explosive, and athletic.

I think Rolin's film compares favorably with Anzalone's, but Rolin seems to be the bigger hitter on defense which puts him at the top of the list in my opinion.

The only slightly negative I saw was that in a few tackles he got moved back. Of course, his being only 210 pounds on a 6'4" frame could be the cause (he looks really lanky in the video). He'd get up to 240-250 easily under our S&C program...

I think Anzalone is the more impressive prospect based on his film. Rolin does have a lot of similarities in his game with his overall athleticism and the angry attitude he plays with, however, Anzalone has already filled out his frame a lot more at this point and still looks to be faster on film. Also, in a lot of the plays on Anzalone's highlight film he is constantly shedding blockers and throwing people around to get to the ball carriers, whereas Rolin seems to be making more tackles in the open field without people really throwing blocks at him. I think Rolin has a ton of potential and if he is able to maintain his speed and athleticism while adding on weight in our S&C program, he could be a great LB. But at this point, I think Anzalone seems to be further along in his game. All that being said it would be great to see both of them playing for us in years to come
