And to think they "passed" on Anzalone
I'm not sure why this is funny. They did. It's why they also---

I thought scUM was getting him and O'Daniel, no?
---told O'Daniel, like Anzalone, that we were full at LB. Not sure how the truth is that weird.

Now, like someone said - BACK TO E.J. - and since he'll be announcing with hats, I think he'll pick Florida State. I never like Michigan's chances when it comes down to picking hats. On a stranger note, his recruitment has taken a comical turn the past few weeks. He was once highly ranked across the board - near 5 star on a few sites, where suddenly he dropped some 200 spots on 247Sports top list, and when I asked them why -- we saw more tape, was the response I got. Now I understand kids rise and fall, though with his offer list - every major program offered this kid - it just comes off a bit odd he'd fall that far, that fast. That all just doesn't add up for me.

Hey, but I am sure if you paid for their site .... they'd explain it in detail.

It's funny because they screwed their LB'er recruiting up. McCray is a tweener and Gedeon is not better than Zone or O'Daniel...They thought they had EJ locked up and it backfired on them if he doesn't commit to them...huge mistake in judgement.

Gedeon and McCray aren't scraps and they did have a pretty good LB haul last year. So even if EJ picks FSU (no guarantee), the skunkbears will be fine at that position.

I was only suprised that they passed on O'Daniel because 1) he's obviously a great talent; and 2) he's teammates with Kendall Fuller.

But I still think TSUN is bringing in a good class that will probably finish ranked higher than OSU solely because of numbers.

Not to get sidetracked here, and with all due respect to the thread, that's your opinion.

If Levenberry picks Michigan, which he could ... I'm not getting my hopes up, but I think if he does, UM will have gotten the three LBs they wanted. That's their opinion. Now in 3/4 years, could we look back and say they made a mistake - of course, that happens all the time, though I think it's a bit premature to say they "screwed up their LB'er recruiting" ... you picked up a great LB today, and Clemson got a great one in O'Daniel, though every class has only so many spots. You can't take seven LBs, even if you wanted to. I mean, you could, but you can also forget about LBs all together, forget you need them, try and convert other players .. maybe a RB .. to play LB, really suck at doing this, lose your job ... blame Canada ... and take the Arizona job. But, once again, back to Mr. Levenberry

This was a fantastic post - spot on! Nice.

And I really don't think it matters where UM and OSU are ranked, their classes will far better than anyone else in the B10.

McCray will never play a down of LB'er at Michigan and if he does I say good luck. He will likely be a DE and compared to what we hauled in last year and Bosa this year...once again good luck. Good luck stopping our offense with a typical B10 defense.

McCray checking Baugh and the Huermans would bring a smile to my face...no wait McCray spying Braxton and having to get into a footrace with him...
