Houston?s Bellaire High School receiver Devin Lauderdale, who is ranked the No. 216 best player in the nation by Rivals.com, recommitted to Texas Tech on Sunday after decommitting in the wake of Tommy Tuberville?s departure last month.

The news was first reported by RedRaiderSports.com after Lauderdale completed an official visit in Lubbock this weekend.

Lauderdale had been committed to Texas Tech since the spring although West Virginia and Alabama were in close pursuit for his services. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State became serious competitors after the four-star recruit decided to open up his recruiting process once again.

You name it and it?s likely Lauderdale has an offer from them with the exception being Texas.

He holds offers from at least 33 schools.
