This kid played great tonight. Has anyone heard anything else about him? He's a big kid. He could be a big safety, but he has room to grow into a LB.. good speed too, he's very intruiging..

No offers yet but those will come. Big 10 caliber in my opinion. Needs a good camp circuit this summer. He, Dymonte Thomas and Jayme Thompson are three of the best safeties in the state for 2013. Only better DBs I've seen so far appear to be Cam Burrows and Ross Douglas and they project as corners. Jalyn Powell is creeping into the conversation as well.

I really want McWilson and Burrows. I want Thomas too, but he's already pretty solid with Michigan.

OSU will want to evaluate a lot of the in-state talent at camps and combines next year. McWilson will need a great camp showing. He and Thompson look to be the best in-state safety options. Also, expect OSU to look to Florida and Georgia next year for some DBs as well. Leon McQuay and Shaq Wiggins are an examples of Georgia DBs who already have an OSU offer and I expect there will be more to come. And OSU is already sitting in great shape with Caleb Day, Cam Burrows and Eli Woodard.

Offered per the Bank.

Not a surprise, McWilson's recruitment has just started to blow up. Really, really glad to see this offer, McWilson is legit. A safety class of Worley, McWilson, and Thomas would fit the bill quite nicely and we wouldn't even need to leave Ohio.

Scout $ - McWilson Blowing Up In Recruiting

2/14

By The Bank....Recaps his Ohio State visit. Says he wasn't offered, but might return for camp. Talks about his interest in Nebraska, Michigan State, Illinois & Indiana (all have offered).

If he was told that he could earn an offer at camp this summer, and if he is not completely committed to doing that ("might return for camp"), that would not bode well for his chances at Ohio State.

Not wanting to compete for a spot is definitely not what Meyer is looking for. That said, you can't blame him too much with quality offers from other schools to consider.
