Scout $ - Jersey OL Gets Two Huge Offers

2/21

Florida and Ohio State...previously focused on Virginia, West Virginia and UConn but now wants to take a look at Gainesville and Columbus.

Isn't Lazard like the 50th ranked tackle?

Who's evaluations do you take with more weight? Urban Meyer and Ed Warriner or the hardworking, but ultimately amateur evaluators who work for Scout, Rivals, and the other sites that aren't really even worth mentioning.

If Meyer and Warriner are ready to take a commitment from this OL in April, that should tell you full well that they consider him a Plan A type recruit.

If you were just being sarcastic, apologies in advance.

Offers from Ohio State, Florida, Maryland, Miami (FL), Michigan, Boston College, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia among others.

He hasn't been offered by everyone, but that certainly isn't a bad list either. Perhaps he hasn't camped or one of numerous other reasons why recruiting services undervalue players in their rankings.

Of note:

They told me they like me as a tackle, either on the right or left side, it doesn't matter. They told me they would be taking three offensive linemen in total for the class of 2013.

Similarly to what they told Elliott, I'm not sure how much stock you can put in what the staff is telling a recruit about the numbers in April...
