Class of 2013
Offensive lineman
6'5"
295 lb.
Everett, MA
Everett

Offered by OSU per his 247 timeline.

I love the reaction of the guy in the background of his photo.

It's really interesting to see OSU going into New England to pick up players. Everett and CM (where Reeves are Williams are, which was also my high school's brother school) used to be teams my high school would always play in seven-on-sevens (and always beat ). Cool to see some of these local guys making it big time.

As an Ohio transplant to MA, I didn't think there was any good HS Football up here. I went to a couple big school games locally and it was just sad. To know that there are some big time prospects up here is reassuring.

You should head out to the central Mass "super bowl" site next December. Last time I went (2 or 3 years ago) I got to see more than one championship get decided for a mere ten bucks. It certainly isn't like the high levels in OH, but there are more than a few I-AA types that are playing.

I lived in Cambridge for 5 years 05-09, and I agree with you for the most part, but Everett is as close to a powerhouse as it gets. They were pretty darn good for the few years when I lived there. I think they won the Super Bowl (what they call the state champoinship in MA) 2 years in a row.

Central Mass? You mean there's more Massachusetts outside the 495 belt? I thought that was upstate NY.

Back to Montelus, seems to have a great frame. I'll try and see him play this fall.

Was a good BC lean and got enough texts from guys out there that weren't happy at all with this :)

"Mount Mont" is what his nickname is, fitting.....with his frame and athleticism, this kid has one of the highest ceilings for an OL I've seen this cycle.

So Jim Bollman would be recruiting him at BC these days, correct?

Agree wadc, this kid looks big time.

More on the Pocic bandwagon over Bivin but 1 of those, Lisle, this kid, and another big timer and it will be a terrific haul.

Not jumping off the Lovell bandwagon just yet, hopefully he can camp and get an offer if his recruiting doesn't pick up.

I love Lovell's potential at center. Bobek would be a junior when he came in so that could work out nicely. Montelus looks like a kid with a really ceiling. I'd take any of him, Lisle, Bivin.
