Sophomore Jordan Cunningham of Davie University has big day in title game loss

Jordan Cunningham is going to have a bright future. It may not have seemed like that to him on Saturday afternoon after he and his Davie University School teammates lost a 3-overtime thriller to Ocala Trinity Catholic 56-55 in the Florida Class 2B state title game.

The consolation, however, is that Cunningham is a sophomore, and he knows it's possible that he and the Suns could be right back at the Citrus Bowl next year or the year after.

Following his six-reception, three-touchdown performance on the losing end of Saturday's shootout, Cunningham was able to hold back tears long enough to look forward.

This is somewhat OT (feel free to move), but there is a wide degree of interpretation in exactly what an "offer" is, which we can see pretty clearly under Urban now. Is an offer expressing interest and inviting them for an OV? A lot of kids seem to think so. But as we have seen there is a two-tiered system of offers and OFFERS. I'm guessing (although I'm not sure) that he has a whole lot of offers expressing initial interest, but it's impossible to say how many are official and legally binding.

Look at Maurice Hurst Jr. as an example. Scout lists an offer, but as we know he wanted to commit at FNL and was asked to wait. He did not have an official offer.
