Shortly before the start of the Midwest Regional semifinal between No. 1 seed Louisville and No. 12 seed Oregon on Friday, reports hit Twitter of security at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis being instructed to not allow William "Worldwide Wes" Wesley into the building.

It was later clarified he was simply not allowed into credentialed areas.

The guy who somehow has influence all over the sport of basketball. From directing kids to Kentucky (Anthony Davis, John Wall) to being in LeBron's inner circle when he chose Maimi, the guy is just everywhere.

It was also strange last year, as Kentucky won the NCAA tournament, Anthony Davis and "WWW" (Worldwide Wes) had a long hug in the stands. He's just seedy as all get out....
