TROTWOOD ? Something was missing in Trotwood-Madison?s defense as the high school football season unfolded: junior free safety George Bradley.
?Bam,? as he?s known, was out with a minor knee injury.
The Rams held their own defensively without Bradley, but since his midseason return, T-M?s defense has been lights out.
?It?s great,? said Bradley?s brother, senior linebacker Nicholas Grigsby. ?If I don?t get the tackle, I know he?s going to come through and get it. We relate. I know if he?s going to do this or do that.?
The brothers actually are first cousins, but Bradley?s mother, Earnestine Grigsby, has custody of Nick and insists that they be called brothers. The best thing to call them is a 1-2 defensive hammer for the Rams.
At 6-foot-2, 203 pounds, Bradley hits like a tank and has the speed to run down any receiver or running back.
Grigsby, 6-2, 210, is even faster and also is capable of delivering spectacular and steady knockdowns.
