By Bill Greene
Posted Feb 6, 2010

Played mostly JV last year but looking forward to building on the varsity experience he did get... He's running track & working on his strength... Would like to stay at TB but might get looks at other positions as well... His grades are good & he wants to study architecture... Schools of interest are OSU, Oregon, Texas, & Cincy...

Scout $ - Bentley Has Big Game In Ohio Stadium

9/5

By Wasserman...Coach Ginn thinks Bentley performance against Camden County should get his more looks...has offers from Illinois, Pitt, Air Force, Toledo, Akron and Kent State...says he talks with Coach Johnson and that an OSU offer would mean a lot to him.

Henderson had a couple nice runs, but Bentley was basically Glenville's entire offense in that game.

Free 24/7 - Herbsteit Classic: Day Two at OSU

V'Angelo Bentley impacted the game in several ways. First, he returned the game's first punt 86 yards for a score. He then picked up a fumble and ran it back 27 yards for a touchdown. He carried the football 10 times for 75 yards, and besides Green, was the most exciting player on the field. He also caught three passes for 34 yards and recovered a second fumble. Before the game, Glenville assistant coach Tony Overton said that the 5-foot-9, 185-pound Bentley was excited about his Pittsburgh offer, but that he doesn?t plan to do much with recruiting during his senior season.
