His dad is the offensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers (Jeff obviously).

He paved the way for a dominant rushing attack this year, their running back ran for a lot of yards (I don't know the specific total).

....?We have a sophomore, 6-foot-7, 270-pounds, an offensive tackle named Nick Davidson,? Ardrey Kell head coach Adam Hastings said. ?He?s got numerous verbal offers so far, four or five. I know South Carolina, Clemson and Maryland have offered. Just about anybody that has come through here has shown a lot of interest.


?He?s going to have 40 plus offers.?

Hastings discussed his star sophomore further. ?He?s got great hips and has a very bright future,? he said. ?He runs real well and just turned 16.

?Most of all, it?s just his attitude and size. He understands the game and that helps, as he is a coach?s son. He does things you don?t expect from a player his age.?

Tigers, Gamecocks offer Davidson

 OL Nick Davidson (6-6 270) of Charlotte has offers from Clemson, USC, Stanford, NC State, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Notre Dame among others, according to his coach, Adam Hastings. "He has at least 14 offers and likes all of the schools showing interest in him," said Hastings. Davidson has already visited Stanford and Virginia Tech and is planning trips to Clemson, USC, and NC State. "He wants to visit as many schools as he can," added Hastings. Davidson should be at USC's junior day this weekend and plans to go to Clemson the following week. He will also return to Stanford and Virginia Tech for their junior days as well. "Nick is a can't miss type of player," said his coach. "He is smart and has a 4.6 G.P.A. He is very coachable and has a huge upside." According to Hastings, Davidson does not have a favorite.
