Howard enjoys USC spring game
By Eric Guimaraes

WR Alton Howard (5-9 170) of Orlando took in the USC spring game Saturday. "It went good...meeting with Coach (Steve) Spurrier and all," Howard said. "I hung out with Alshon Jeffery. It was pretty cool. We exchanged some thoughts." Howard has offers from USC, Florida, Miami, Ohio State, Purdue, East Carolina, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Virginia, UCLA, and Utah. He says he does not have any favorites but did say he is interested in USC. "Definately," he said adding, "I may go back up there this summer." Howard will visit Notre Dame this weekend, if things work out. "I am trying to make travel arrangements now so I can go," he said. He plans to take in Central Florida's spring game as well. As a junior, he caught 61 passes for 1100 yards and 13 touchdowns.
